Dialogue on Siachen beyond Military Solutions

In May 2012, BARDASHT held a dialogue on the crucial issue of ‘Siachen’ between India and Pakistan. Reputable defense analysts and experts gave their opinions on ways to resolve the Siachen conflict that included Tanvir Ahmad Khan, former foreign Secretary, General (retired) talat Masood, Defense Analyst, Brig (Retd) Rashid Ali Malik, Defense Analyst, Ms. Maria, Chairperson Institute of Strategic Studies and fahad Hussain, a renowned tV Anchor. families of the Shaheeds of Sallala and Siachin were also invited and paid homage. A large number of Ambassadors and foreign Diplomats attended the proceedings.
